This Privacy Policy explains how the ThirstCheck helps you stay hydrated by temporarily blocking screen time when you do not drink water, without collecting or transmitting any personal information.

2. Scope​

This policy applies to the current version of the ThirstCheck App. By using the app you acknowledge that hydration reminders and screen blocking are performed entirely on your device.

3. No Data Collection​

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share:

  • Personal data
  • Usage analytics
  • Device identifiers
  • Location data
  • Contacts or media
  • Health or fitness records

4. Local Processing Only​

All hydration intervals, timers, and screen block triggers are calculated locally. No information leaves your device. We do not use external servers, cloud sync, or third-party SDKs.

5. Screen Time Blocking​

If you skip drinking water past a configured interval the app initiates a local blocking overlay. This mechanism:

  • Does not read other app content
  • Does not log app usage
  • Does not modify system settings beyond granted permissions

6. Permissions​

Any permission you grant (e.g., notifications) is used solely to:

  • Show hydration reminders
  • Display/block overlay when the interval expires
    We do not escalate or reuse permissions.

7. Notifications​

Notification schedules are generated locally. We do not track opens, clicks, delivery, or interaction metrics.

8. Third Parties​

We integrate no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or external libraries that transmit data.

9. Children​

Because we do not collect data, the app is suitable for all ages from a privacy standpoint. Hydration guidance is generic and not medical advice.

10. Security​

While no data is collected, we still minimize attack surface by:

  • Avoiding unnecessary network calls
  • Using platform sandboxing
  • Not persisting sensitive state

11. Changes​

If the app ever adds features involving data collection this policy will be updated before release. Previous versions will remain available for review.
